Happy New Year! I also have a new video. My last video of the decade. I started editing in 2000 so I feel like this is a big milestone. I can't believe it's been 10 years already. For the Love of the Game. I have you enjoy it. I wanted to push out the new website before the 1st but that doesn't look like its gona happen sinse I've been sick all week and havn't touched it at all. Hope everyone has a good year.

New video, been out for a few weeks. Together is nothign special but I like how it came out. Working on a video for the Nan Desu Kan 2009 AMV Contest so if you are attending, be sure to get there on time so you see it :P I also updated the awards section to reflect my two new awards for Macross: Angel's Voice this year.

Little late, but if you've been keeping tabs on animemusicvideos.org, i released a new video not too long ago. You Stole My Heart. Sappy romance at it's finest. If you've been getting sick of the emo drama I've been making lately, this should be refreshing. Hope you enjoy.

Update:

Two new videos... well technically one. If you have been checking my org profile, I released a video in October but never said anything about it here, lol. My bad >.> Please Don't Leave Me Alone was made in a couple hours so don't expect much from it. I still like it though.

Now for a bigger release: Macross: Angel's Voice took me about 5 months to complete. I was working on it when I made the other video. It's a Macross tribute to say the least. I put a load of time and effort into this thing and I hope people enjoy it.

Happy new year. It's been really slow for me but I have been working on a new project for several months now. Not sure when it will be completed, let alone released. Best case for release at the moment will be at Anime Expo, Otakon, or AWA depending on how soon I complete it and if I can afford to attend any of the three cons. I have some other ideas as well, so as soon as I'm done with this, I wll be working on those and get those out as soon as they are completed.

I'm also in the process of remaking the website. I want to turn it into an online portfolia/demo reel, as well as, set up a blog where I can talk about something that are going on in movies, tv, music, games, polotics, etc. All i really have to do now is the backend as most of the site is already designed. It will keep the same overall layout and color scheme, but will have a recoded backend and be more modular so I can remove or add things easier.

Anyway, thats all for now.

Well, it's starting to look like the end for pwolfamv.com. I cannot afford to keep it running anymore. So sometime next month the website will be shut down and probably wont come back up for a while, if at all. This is kind of a sad time for me as I've put a lot of time and effort into keeping my website up. It's been long time and I hope something changes between now and next month to let me keep it.

Oh yea! I did make a new video. I put it in the video page but never said anything, sorry. It's called Ai to Shi and it won best instrumental in the AWA14 Pro contest last month.

Ok, a little late but new video. Inner Conflict. It was an experiement with HD sources mostly so I didn't really have a clear idea in mind when starting the project. Definately not my best but if you like my work then by all means, take a look. If anyone wants the HD versions, please let me know and I will provide those. I just got back from Comic Con. It was enjoyable but i'm all con'ed out. I'll be going to Otakon and will be hosting a panel there as well. Thats pretty much it.

Happy Mothers day... Also, i finally got the site back up. A little back story about what happened:

After dealing with free hosting for some time, I purchased hosting from a company called Bluedomino. About 3 years ago my account was terminated because they couldn't transfer my site to their new data center. Idiots. Anyway, I friend of mine offered me free hosting. So for 3 years i had free hosting. He decided to cancel his account with Ixwebhosting which in turn killed my website. But he didn't tell me. Long story short, I couldn't get my files or database from them, but eventually contacted my friend who helped me deal with IXwebhosting. I then purchased hosting from IXwebhosting. A few weeks ago, Bluedomino contacts me to inform me that my domain is expiring. Unable to login to their system, i call and they inform me that they own my domain and I have to sign up for their service to renew it. Thinking that was total bull shit, I contacted IX and I transfered my domain and it's been renewed (yay). Anyway, the moral of the story is:

Bluedomino is a bunch of cheater asshats

IXwebhosting, even tho their online 24 hour chat sucks balls, their phone support is very good and they have a pretty damn good hosting service.

Ok, so anyway, I'm still uploading some files to the site but everything should be working now. No new videos unfortunately. But I'm working on one atm.

Ok, so I finished that video I was talking about in the last update. Not sure if I'll be releasing it until after the SacAnime panel. We'll see. I also updated the counter to take into consideration the 100,000 hits i had while the old counter was used. I hit the 100,000 mark in April of last year. And based on the amount of time and hits that were on the new counter, i calculated an average amount of hits i would've been getting durring the downtime. It's not 100% accurate, but it will have to do and is probably close enough.

I recieved a few e-mails from ppl about my counter. Microsoft bought or owned the counter system I used before and they tok it down in favor of their "Live" shit. Stupid. Anyway, I decided to make my own. I don't know what the number was at when it died so I can't resume it. Plus its been a long time since then... more then a year maybe? I'll have to figure out what the last major number i recorded and go from there... or calculate what it might be based on what my records are. we'll see. for now I started at zero.

I also have a new video in the works. It's almost done. I only need another day's worth of work. I will most likely finish it next weekend but wont release it for some time. I will however show it my AMV panel at SacAnime in January. So if you are in the Sacramento area, drop by :P

Sorry for the long absense. School and Work keep me very busy lately and i havn't had the time to do a lot of the things i used to. Its also been a slow and frustrating year for me as well. There are 4 new videos on the site now. 1 is a live action video i finished back in Feburary and the other 3 are AMV Contest intros i made for Scottanime's cons (SacAnime and NDK). Take a look at them and enjoy :P Also, This Time won best Drama this past weekend at NDK 2007. It's been almost a year sinse i've won so thats cool :P I might have another video done this weekend but no promises, heh. Anyway, thats it. Take it easy :o

New video: This Time. It was entered into the AWA 12 Pro contest but didn't win unfortunately. it has recieved much praise, so thats good enough for me. The video is encoded to h264 so if you have problems playing it, download VLC and it should work fine in that player. I hope you all enjoy it.

Not a whole lot going on here. I've been editing a few videos on an off. I'm trying to finish at least one of them some time soon, but no promises.

I was at Anime Expo last weekend. It was ok but i was rather dissapointed by the AMV contest. I wont go into details, but this year's contest and Anime Expo's view on AMVs this year has seriously made me rethink wither or not i should enter their contest or even attend next year.

I was handing out DVDs this year. If you were lucky enough to get one, I'm sorry for the aspect ratio problems with the 16:9 widscreen videos. The dvd authoring program i used didn't read the master files correctly and encoded them with black bars at the top thus screwing up the aspect ratio. Unfortunately, i figured this out about 2 hours before i had to leave for Anaheim, so no fixing it.

I don't really have a lot of ideas for this year but i can say i'm still looking. I'M BACK!!!! lol... well if anyone has noticed the website has been down for about a month. i had problems with my host and have been trying to get database access with my new host. He's a great guy and very busy so wasn't a problem for me. While the site was down i made two videos: Crow, and Elements. Actually just finished Elements yesterday. Both videos are on www.animemusicvideos.org, go check out the video page here for the links. I'll be doing some small updates in the next few days. if anyone finds any problems, tell me so i can fix them. thats it for now.

i stopped paying for local hosting. if you've noticed already, for the past months, you can't download anything fromt he local links. i finally got rid of them so now you have to follow the link to www.animemusicvideos.org and download my videos there. it's free and the servers are fast... so there is no excusses :P

I updated the video page so that the videos are listed under the year they were released... should help people better understand that the newer ones (and better) are on the bottom of the page ^_^

Also, my video host had some changes so i need to upload the videos again... i'll start working on that tomarrow and the rest of this week. grrr... trying to take control of this bandwidth problem but i seem to be running into problem after problem... right now you can\'t download anything... you\'ll get a video file that is only a few kb and isn\'t playable... please bare with me as i try to fix this problem -_-

in other news... A new video will be released in early November... so far i\'ve been told it\'s my best yet, so look for it :P

if you havn\'t already, please register at www.animemusicvideos.org, after 2weeks you can download all my videos. i would much rather you go there to get them then download from the local server. Thanks :P

ok, some bad news... inthe past 24hours my bandwidth for the video host went up to 63gb! thats in the last 24hours. i\'m pretty sure i\'m not that popular so i think something is wrong. I took down the links until i can figure out whats up. If it was really just a bunch of people downloading my videos, i want you all to e-mail me right now so i know, otherwise, i\'m taking the videos down until i figure out how to limit bandwidth usage.

a little bit of bad news... my video host is shutting down august 7th. this means any \"local\" links on this site will be gone. Which means there will only be really 1 way to get my videos and that\'s through www.animemusicvideos.org. i\'ll be post an FAQ for downloading videos soon. I\'ll be looking for a new video host, but chances are, i can\'t really afford it anyway so there may not be one anytime soon. Well, my hard drive crashed. All my amvs were on there. I managed to back most of them up a few months before, but the newest video "Ace Combat Zero" is lost. It's not lost forever, cause can download it, but my master of it is gone. Well, lets hope it isn't completely gone. I'll be taking the harddrive to a shop to see if i can save the data. wish me luck. i need it -_-

alright, small update. I\'ll be uploading a new video. not really new, but it was a track for a multi-editor project. I\'ll upload that soon. Also, i added links to my videos at animemusicvideos.org. most of my videos are located there also, so if you can\'t get it here, you can get it there. Only problem is that you have to wait 2 weeks after becoming a member to download. I\'ll be also placing an FAQ and a link to it in the video page. I used the audio from the Ace Combat 5 trailers and footage from Macross Zero. Both videos are on the video page and available for download. Enjoy :P

Nothing new video wise, but if you goto the video page now, you will see the new ones. I got rid of the other pages. Now there is just a list and a video info page. The list page will show the name, anime, songs, and also if it\'s available. you can click the link on the list to get the video or goto the info page and get it. I hope everyone likes the new pages. I\'ll still need to do some tweaking though.

OK, sorry for the lack of updates on my part. The school term edned and started up again, and i\'ve been working on videos a lot and doing school work. If you havn\'t noticed already, the banner at the top is actually about 7 banners. I have a script that randomly chooses them. Sorry for the 56kers... i\'m going to fix the banners a bit so they are easier to load for guys. I\'ve been getting good feedback on my newest video, i\'ve very pleased with it\'s results and i\'ll probbaly send it to cons this year, not really to win, which would be nice, but in hope of it at least getting shown :) I\'ve also joined another multi-editor project. I\'ll be working on that video soon. Probably all next week. I am also getting new ideas so there be new videos in the near future. That\'s all for now.

The database was having some stability problems the last few days, but seems to be fixed now, i hope. Because of that i\'ve been holding back some good news.
Every year since 2002, www.animemusicvideos.org has a contest called the viewers choice awards. basicly the members of the org vote on the best videos of the past year. Due to some new rules a lot of very good videos didn\'t make the cut so some people are alittle bitter about the whole thing, but besides that Mitternacht was nominated for Best Action and Best Horror. On Feb, 16 it was annouced Best Horror. :O i didn\'t think i had a chance tho, but i guess not :P anyway, that\'s my third award and it\'s an important one in my opinion. Thats all the news for now. I\'ve been swamped with a lot of school work and anime lately and i ran into a problem with a new video so i\'m trying tog et around that. That\'s pretty much it for now.

The site is back up!!! yaay! Durring the downtime, as you can see, i remade the layout. I like it a lot. I spent everyday durring the downtime working on it. I hope you guys like it. Major differences between this one and the last one is this one uses no frames. I believe this will make it better in a sense. I also removed the video upates page becuase it was too out there and i'm too lazy to update it. plus i don;t think anyone cared about it. I also added a pictures page. I'll from time to time post pictures in there. Right now there are a few pics of some stuff i had on the server. Check them out when you get the chance. There are still a few minor problems that need to be worked out. If you see something wrong, contact me ASAP!! i want to work out all bugs.

Also. while the site was down i recieved e-mails from my video host about my bandwidth usage. from the feb 1st to today, i've used over 65gb of bandwidth over my limit! I e-mailed the host and he said as long as there aren't any problems with the other people on the server nothing will happen. But durring the that ordeal, i removed a lot of the videos off the server. I'll be uploading them again tonight. That's all for now.

I put a lot of comments in the notes so if you really want to know more behind why i remade it and what happened durring the creation, read it. It's up for download so go get it. Nothing much, just wanted to post this "ad" i did yesterday. basicly on www.animemusicivdeos.org they have a viewer's choice awards where the fans vote on videos of the past year. so some people were making these "ads" so i did to:

I droped two videos. they were the Special Edition version of Mitternacht and Duhast. The 5.1 audio really doesn't make any difference. But i will still be making a new Du Hast video. Also i'm having problems with the forum so as i work on that, the forums may not work. i'll post again when they are up.

It's been just about a year since i created Midnight (which lead to the creation of Mitternacht). i havn't finished or created any new videos since, expect for some small projects. I WILL finish the videos i've been working on, and I WILL make new videos :P that's my new years resolution... >.> that been said, i did finish a new video. it's the second track i've done for the amv project "Animix" i will release it once Animix 5 is released. My first track will be released with the month as Animix 4 is being released. That's all for now.

I am currently switching out some videos. I've uploaded a few but if you download a video and your suddenly cut off or you don't download the full video wait about 15 min depending on how much of it you got. chances are i'm uploading that particular video. That's all for now.

I fixed up the new video idea/project page. it will now show current values. i also added the links to the comments on the forum. feel free to add your comments as they help me make the videos better. ok first off, i added a new page. The video ideas/project page. I'm still working on it but for now it's up. as i find new ideas and work on them i'll be updating it. I think this will be a nice addition as it will give you all a chance to see what i'm working on and how far i have complete them. I am also going to add links to forum topics so i can give detailed info on my progress and you can comment. I also plan on putting up beta links. I sometimes encode small betas and show them to people. if i feel that i should show you all a beta of what i've done, then i mgiht do that as well. well no news from the host. i did send another e-mail. I want to give more of an update on what i'm doing right now. I was going to work on that video status page but, it's too much work to update at the moment. So i'll just use this news page to give updates for now.

Video news:
I have joined two projects in the last few months. The first project is Animix. This is an awesome project which has over 60 editors under it at the moment, and more are coming. I picked up a track a few weeks ago and finished the final version a few days ago. I think it turned out awesome and i'm very proud of it. I'll be releasing the video once Animix Part 4 is released (thats the part my track is in). I have also picked up a track in part 5. i'll be working on that for the next few weeks. Another project i joined is Project Genius. I can't say anything about this but i it will be awesome when it's released. i will give more details as i am alowed to give out more :P
As for other videos. I plan on continueing work on Misato very soon. The video i made for Animix has helped me think of new ideas and i want to try them out. As for the other videos, they are on hold until Misato and the small videos i have now are done.

OK some big changes, kinda. I re coded all the video pages. there will no longer be a search page. instead i replaced the search page with a page off all my videos, if full detail and a page of all video in a list format. I've been wanting to change the videos around, but my server wont let me delete any of them so i have to wait until my host fixes that. I added an other video to the list, i made this video for a group project back in Febuary but havn't got around to adding it to the list. it's not uplaoded just yet so you'll have to wait to see it. that's about it for now. i'll get back soon.

I added some new code the the available video page. It actually worked on the first try too :P but any way, the code looks for the video files on the video server and the videos come up as available. before i would have to manually change the databases data to say the videos are available. this makes it's so i can be more lazy :P

Well i figured out what was wrong with the server. They had a hardware failure on the main server. the server should be back up and running soon. the people at digiphobia (my host), are awesome, so i have no doubt everything will be ok :P

OK, sorry for the lack of updates but i've been rather... umm busy? or uneventful. So anyway, I've been spending a lot of time watching anime and doing school work. the anime is cool, school work sucks. i picked up a track for the animix which is a very awesome multi-editor project. I've been working on that track and working on it has given me some ideas for he other video i have. this helping me et back into editing and i will hopfully have a new video completed soon.

October was the month i started work on Midnight, which lead to the creation of Mitternacht. I can't believe its been that long already. Time flies by really fast. One month from today may mark Pwolf's Anime Musiv Videos 3rd year of making and distributing amvs! that's cool. thats all for now... im about to goto sleep so gnight to everyone.

Some videos are back up. I realized a big flaw in my coding, so next week i am going to be recoding some parts of the site, you wont notice anything. I found the problem when i was changing the links. Each link is actually in a database, and after changing a few, i realized it would be a lot easy in the future if i don't put the links in the database, but rather put the only part of the link. This way, if the servers are ever changed again, i can use variables on the video page itself to make the changes. this will save me tons of time and i can't belive i didn't think of it sooner. I have a lot of work ahead of me -_- anyway, i'll be gone all weekend, so if you e-mail me, don't expect a swift reply until sunday night. That's all for now :P

Ok, i figured out the whole server problem. Basicly the host sent out an e-mail way back in august about a server change. So i never got this e-mail. Just todayi e-mailed him on my other e-mail address and got a reply. So i have the new server address but now i can't change the links. the links are dynamicly created by a database and i can't access the admin controls until tomorow. Unless, i create my own, which i might do, just becuase i am bored, lol. That's just about it. I'll update again when the links are fixed.

Well i've been trying to keep my mind off of AMVs for a while but it's nearly impossible, as i am thinking and thinking of idea every second >.< I have no motivation to make AMVs at the moment, and it's really pissing me off. I am thinking about dropping the .Hack//sign video. It rrequires the most work and dropping that will get a lot of this AMV congestion out of my mind. The generator gawl video is coming along nicely. There is so much i want to do with it, but i am running low on motivation. Same thing with the Eva video. I got this idea recently. Well not really recent becuase i've been thinking it over for a long time and finally got an image in my head and started working on it. It a hellsing video to Mien Herz Brennt by Rammstien. If you go here you can find the gawl beta and the "pilot" for the MHB video. I made a pilot becuase i wanted to show some other creator, the ones i respect the most, and i wanted to see what they thought. So far everyone whos seen it likes the idea, so i decided to start work on it so i could as much out of me before i get back into this creator's block again.

On top of all this amv stuff, i ordeed a DVD burner last friday. After screwing up my address i had to call them to fix it. Now i thought it was fixed, but i still havn't recived teh drive nor have i had a comfirmation of it actually being sent. i'm a little pissed. AND I WANT IT NOW!! i even order 50 dvd-rs... and they are tempting me right now as i type >.< oh well that's all for now. remember if there are any probs just e-mail me. Also if yo want me to put up a video, IM me or e-mail me. i'll probably put the video up within 24-48 hours. That's all.

For the last 6 days I've been in Anaheim, CA for AX2003. It was a blast! The year before sucked a lot because I was very shy and had conflicting schedules. This year was awesome. Some people say it was boring but for me it wasn't. The panels (at the least the one's I went to) were awesome. The AMV contest this year was a far bigger improvement then last year. I was actually disappointed to see that the contest wasn't going to be held in a theater, like last year. but after it started, it was very good. The contest was great! A lot of great videos were shown (including Mitternacht of course ^_^). Although a small mix-up with some videos, the contest was great. I had to attend the masquerade to see if Mitternacht had won, which wasn't my idea of fun, but it turned out ok. And to my surprise, Mitternacht won best action!!! Between Eternal Damnation and Sin City, I was sure I wasn't going to win. I am actually very tired right now but I will be posting some more con stuff tomorrow and maybe a pic of my trophy ^_^ That's all for now.

Last night i reformated my computer. nothing major. last weekend i was at Fanime. Mitternacht was there in the finals. It didn't win, but i think it went well with the audience. I will be posting some pics and maybe some video. I didn't take much, mostly videos and one small part where i accidently turned that camera on. I'll be going to Anime Expo next week. Updated the website a bit. Fist thing you can see is i took out the right side. I thought it would be easier to the contents in the center with that gone. We'll see :P As for zero leaving. It was more like a missunderstanding. He may be back i dunno. I am thinking about leaving PAMV as a one person studio. But i have been thinking of making a group were multipul creators can join and use it has a hub. Kinda like www.animemusicvideos.org but on a smaller scale. that's all for now.

Well a few days ago i relized i deleted one of the videos i was working on >_< not too much of a problem... it lets me re edit it so it's better. As for other things. I spent the last 2 hours figuring out exactly wehn each of my videos were made and i put them on a timline.. kinda. It was very interesting to see it on the timeline because for the first 12 months of making amvs, i made 34 videos! I'll post the timeline sometime in the future. I am also gona try and remake the database with this new info. might take some time though but i am willing to take the time. I right now havn't been working on any videos. I want to take a few more weeks (maybe only one more week) before i start working on videos again. I dunno. Thats all for now. I havn't slept yet so i might goto sleep now :/

ok yea i was supposed to update yesterday but i didn't. but any way, yea. I have nothing to really update on. K, well today i started a new moethod of editing, well at least its new too me, but whati am doing is writing the lyrics to the song on paper and then pretty much put all my planning on paper and then compose the video. So I figure that by doing this, I will beable to work on the video it self, for a shorter amount of since I have a small case of ADD. And I found out that I can only usally work in premiere for about 2-3 days before I quit on the video..so this way I can already know what im gonna put in the video..im hoping within 2 weeks or less I can have this done..if I dont..Pwolf gets to...do something I am not aware of. So I'll update later as I progress with the video, bai bai.

Guess what? MITTERNACHT!!! well ok it's not midnight, but the video is done. In stead of just making a really high quality encode, i decided to make a really good xvid encode. Which turned out great. This video is better then the other in every way! Footage, timing, and SIZE!!! it's very nice, i am going to start uploading it right now and i'll have it up tomorow morning (or later this morning). Alright, here's the scoop. I am working hard, not really, on getting this new version of midnight done. I have been playing planetside for the last few days so i havn't been working on the video as much as i wanted to. it will be done soon. Now here is some more info on the video. There is only one way to get it. If you contact me and i send it to you directly. It will be a mpeg2 encode at 720x480. thats a big file and i wont have the space to upload it. I'll update again in a few. Oh yea, only two videos are up right now (midnight and kung foo fighting) i am too lazy and i keep forgeting to upload the others.

Good news, i think. Who liked Midnight? You want something better? Well whats better then Midnight and i can make in a week? Midnight 1.1!!!! Well basicly it's a remake, but i using better footage and taking the bad parts out. Just with the better footage it looks much better ^_^. I will hopfully be done with it in a few days, provided that school doesn't get in the way too much. Thats all for now. Oh yea. I've been getting e-mails and post on the forum about me "thinking" about quiting in the last update. I am just thinking of it. I have not made an choice yet and if i did decide, i can still change my mind. Ok what if i do decide to leave. The website will still be here, and i will continue to host videos. I was thinking yesterday and I am thinking of quitting making amvs. not now, but probably at the end of the year. I have been finding it harder and harder to keep my motivation and focus on making them and it's actually not fun anymore. I had a lot of fun making them in the past and actually had fun making Midnight. But the current projects I am working on aren't really fun. They are more like a bother. They are like a stuck in my mind 24/7 and I can't get them out. What was once a hobby is now a chore. so I think this is going to be the final year for me. Of course I could change my mind later. Nothing is official, I am just saying what's on my mind. I will be changing the video rotation soon, so come back and check on the videos.

I did a competition yesterday, basicly a timed amv contest. two or more ppl make a video with a given song for so long and the judges decide who wins. I still don't know the results, but i will upload the video for you all to see. I will also upload the JSR project video. Thats all for now.

I've been trying to work on videos and getting zeros videos up for download. I am lazy -_- I am going to try and work on a new video i just started working on. About a month ago i recieved an e-mail froma member of the band Saintdragon. They asked if i could do some videos for them, and well i first said i couldn't becuase i didn't have the footage for the videos. Well i acquired the Eva dvds and i have begun work on a video simply titled "Misato" and i want to get as much done as possible by april. I'll try and get off my ass and get zeros videos up also.
